This\nfollowed the party’s nomination for prime minister of the sister of\nthe king. That nomination was blocked by the king.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In\nThailand for a long time citizens have been imprisoned on a charge of\nl\u00e8se-majest\u00e9, that is for insulting the king. Now it may be that\njust support for democratic institutions as opposed to feudal ones is\nagainst the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
